| | | Two spiders for ID I spotted the first spider when I peeled back some bark on a dead, fallen tree in Rathfern Wood, Newtownabbey, N.Ireland in April 2007. The second spider photo was taken in Monkstown Wood, Newtownabbey in June 2006. I hope some can provide IDs.

| | | Re: Two spiders for ID First impressions are Clubionidae species for the first and a male Lycosidae species for the second.
The Clubionidae sp. looks immature and it's hard to make a more specific guess as to which one. The Lycosids are very varied in colouration, many be very dark such as this and hard to i.d. from photo's. A Pardosa sp. is as likely as ever.
