Small spider with yellow and brown cephalothorax
Northants garden. 9th March '09.

Found in leaf litter. Help with identification appreciated.

My initial thought would be a male, Paidiscura pallens (= Theridion pallens)
Though not 100% confirmed on that.

Thanks Des - I've managed to locate quite a few images of P. pallens on the web and (whilst they are quite variable) some look almost identical to my spider. So if you're not right, you're very, very close indeed.
