I found this Amaurobius whilst moving some old rubbish in the garden, so i placed it onto the nearby wall, it walked along a short while, and it came to this small web covered hole, so it plucked the web a few times, and nothing happened, so it entered, while it was going in, a small spider came running out ...

Interesting story there AM! I didn't know they would take over another web, unless it was just using it as a dark hideaway until dark as I've heard they are more nocturnal?

To me the original owner looks to be an Amaurobius sp. as well, a juvenile.
