| | | Spider id book Having recently acquired some birthday dosh, I've decided to spend it on a spider id book. I've read one or two past threads which seem to recommend either the Collins/Roberts book or the dick jones book. I'm really fancying the latter as I think pics are easier than illustrations ? Tho I may be wrong !! However, 22 squids for a used copy seems to be the only one available. Therefore ........
Is the dick jones one worth £20 second hand ?
Is the collins one as good as due to quality illustrations ?
Has there been any better ones published since.
Answers on a WAB card pls ?

| | | Re: Spider id book I have the Dick Jones book, but I have it as published in French. That means you don't pay a collectors price for the book and you can get the Collins one too (with a little anticipation of money to come). You don't get the same level of information and diagnostic pictures of the genitalia with the Dick Jones book. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
