I knowthis may be a huge long shot but has anyone ever seen a spider like this? approx 2-3mm, found in a garden in Bristol that backs onto a wooded area.  |

Are you looking for a better view of the eyes Venger?
Obviously very immature, though the shape of the abdomen and discernible pattern on the abdomen makes me think Segestria sp. and probably Segestria senoculata. But then again........

Think the blue stripe is reflected light Seb, I can see where No.9 is going, definitely plausible.

To be honest, if I remember right, I took the pic cause I had never seen a blue-stripe spider. It could be light but at the time Im sure it was blue! I know its not a lot of detail but I guess Segestria sp. does make sense. Thanks guys | | |
