Excellent shot Gerel. An extreme close-up like your pic reveals so much interesting and unexpected detail that is normally not seen in the usual macro shot.

Worth taking a bit of time to really look at the detail.

A fantastic and interesting shot of the only spider I live happily at home with. Just how close did you get to it tho

I have always called them my "dust spiders" (they're a great excuse for not dusting down the corners of the room) And I still think that name suits them better than cellar spider. As Galanthus says, they seem to be a home-comforts loving spider, sharing our lounges and kitchens as they do, not just damp and dingy cellars.
