Help to ID spider

can anyone tell me what spider this is thanks

might be a Meta genus, from the family Tetragnathidae. (that is just a very amatuer speculation though, wait for one of WABs resident Araneologists to give it a look )

I think it looks like a Meta sp too!

To me, it looks like a choice between Meta mengei and Meta segmenta.

A date for the photo may narrow the odds a bit as M. mengei tends to be more common in the first half of the year. But it will be impossible to get a definite ID from that angle.

It looks like Meta Segmentata to me.

It is Meta sp. and it is a male (enlarged palps). Quite a nice photo, but any more information would always be useful, especially date of photo, location, habitat and size.

Yup a Meta sp, if you can't get a good shot of the palps, shots of the front legs (side on) would be good.

I'll say Meta mengei for this one as you can just make out the shadow from the ventral hairs on Tarsi I showing on the stalk!
