| | | spider - Zelotes? Found this under some rocks on a concrete wasteland in Leeds... it was lurking among a web that can be politely described as "untidy", and body length was around 7mm.
I'm wondering at a Zelotes sp., along the lines of Z. latreillei? I know, I know, you need a microscope... but at least I've got a reasonably close view of a palp!
Thoughts appreciated,

| | | Re: spider - Zelotes? Do you have a size? (d'oh you already gave it -sorry)
The palp won't help as this looks female (mature males have a modified tarsus to the palp)
Do you have any other shots?
A head shot and a top down shot would be good.

| | | Re: spider - Zelotes? D'oh! I was wondering why it didn't seem nearly as bulbous as it was meant to be for Zelotes...
I'm afraid there are no other shots - it didn't want to stick around. I'm guessing this may not be very ID-able, then... |

| | | Re: spider - Zelotes? You don't remember anything about the spinnerets (at the moment I'm not convinced its a Zelotes)
It just makes it harder to ID that's all.
