I would think by the length of the chelicera that it is a species of the genus Tetragnathidae and it's a male, as you can see by the palps, but I would wait for conformation of the species from one of our spider guys

| | | Re: spider id At this time of the year I would be tempted to think about Meta segmenta, male. They do tend to live alongside Linyphia and their webs get a bit mixed up.
The abdomen is perhaps a bit on the dark side but M. segmenta (and mengei) can be very variable in colouration.
But if you wait a bit, one of the experts will probably give a definitive answer soon. |

It's a Tetragnatha species, there are six native species in this family the most common being Tetragnatha extensa, obviously Tetragnatha sp. is as close as I'd go.
