this had taken over another spiders web (linyphia triangularis),is it argyrodes trigonum?

Hi Barber,
I would think by the length of the chelicera that it is a species of the genus Tetragnathidae and it's a male, as you can see by the palps, but I would wait for conformation of the species from one of our spider guys

At this time of the year I would be tempted to think about Meta segmenta, male. They do tend to live alongside Linyphia and their webs get a bit mixed up.

The abdomen is perhaps a bit on the dark side but M. segmenta (and mengei) can be very variable in colouration.

But if you wait a bit, one of the experts will probably give a definitive answer soon.

It's from the genus Tetragnathidae or Long Jawed Orb Weavers spiders, you can see the extent of the jaws quite nicely.
It's a Tetragnatha species, there are six native species in this family the most common being Tetragnatha extensa, obviously Tetragnatha sp. is as close as I'd go.
