| | | Crab Spider & Meal Hi. Just wondered if someone could tell me what type of Crab Spider (if that is what it is?) this is.
Very distinctive red pattern on the abdomen, along with a V-shape of dark dots.
It looks like it has a bee for it's dinner. I'm presuming this is a female.

| | | Re: Crab Spider & Meal Yes I'd confirm she's a Misumena vatia. The females are quite variable in colour from white to pale green or pale yellow and with red stripes or spots and can actually alter it to a degree to suit their surroundings.
