| | | Spider identifying (ex-spiders to be more exact) hi.
found this creepy spider cemetary in my garage car pit, found like 5-10 spiders in this form, all white, hanging in their own webs (died of hunger i guess):
theyre about 5cm (2") in length including the legs. pretty big spiders for my environment. in the car pit we store potato sacks, i wonder if those spiders came with the potatoes and were caught in sacks with it or they are just domestic in that pit.
no other lifesigns in it , just the cemetary
what type of spider is that and how harmful could it be? |

The only thing your description reminds me of is the 'daddy-long-legs' spider, Pholcus phalangioides, which can look rather white and ghostly, even when it's still alive
There are several other photos on WAB, e.g.:

| | | Re: Spider identifying (ex-spiders to be more exact) Your white spiders are likely the exuvia (shed skin) of the spider as they grow like snakes they have to shed their skin, so its likely that you still have a spider present. It must be eating if its growing. |

You cant see my pictures in my previous post? How come I can see them normally?
Anyways, here they are in WAB archive:
dogghound, I don't think that those spiders are still alive somewhere in the pit, because there were so many of those white "sheds" or what ever it was. I already stated 5-10 of them. Unless they didn't crawl into the environment.
What if it is dead? Would it turn white?
and yeah, sheds are all the same size.
