| | | Spider-hunting wasp & prey I know there are dozens of species of these spider-hunting wasps, but would anyone know which genus I might start looking at?
Also - what about the spider? Maybe a small foliage spider of some sort?
Photographed on a redshank leaf by our compost heap in central Reading, Berks, at lunchtime today.
Any help appreciated!
NB.
As usual, please click on the thumbnail and then the image to sharpen her up a little.
Thanks again.

Fab shot!

| | | Re: Spider-hunting wasp & prey Thanks Demicav and Venger.
Not actually my best shot of the spider NOR the wasp, but probably the best to ID the wasp by?
You'd be able to ID the spider if I uploaded another shot Venger, but clubiona will do me...
So...
Anyone know the wasp?

I mean Anoplius nigerrimus, not Barnsley!
Thanks.
