| | Unidentifiable green spider green spider - Wild About Britain Pics
sorry about the picture quality but all I had available was my camera phone when I woke up and saw this funny looking spider in my bedroom this morning.
does anyone have a clue what it is? its legs are yellowy brown but its rear was such a fabulous jewel green that it could have been chopped off and made into designer jewellery. don't worry though, the spider is still alive. for now. it was too beautiful to kill but should i be worried, i'm not used to finding green house spiders? |

Like this one?
Don't panic, spiders hunt insects not people
It's an orb weaver, usually you find them outside - looks like this one has strayed indoors.

| | | Re: Unidentifiable green spider Yes I think you're definitely right. It's got kind of a red mark on the end of it. I'd just never seen a green spider before so I was quite surprised to find this little guy haunting the corner of my room yesterday morning!
