I'll have a stab, if I may, at Larinioides sclopetarius, the "Bridge Spider" because of its preference for metal structures (ie bridges, lamposts etc...) near water.
Also taking a liking to Greenhouses now.
Of course. I could be COMPLETELY WRONG!!!

| | | Re: small spider for ID Larinioides sclopetarius for me also. Distinct 'V' of white hairs on the carapace and a very distinct white line around the folium, hopefully found on a structure and not on vegetation.

| | | Re: small spider for ID Everytime I have seen this species it has been near water, usually in bird hides. Not sure if anyone saw the hide at rutland water last year but one side of it was over run with them. |
