Tiny red spider/bug things

Summer is here again (ish) and these things are invading everywhere, anyone know what they are called exactly?

How tiny is tiny? Could well be Red Spider Mites, particularly if they are on house plants or greenhouse plants.

Tiny, as in really really small, so small i can't compare then to anything... erm... about the size of the "o" on the tails side on 1p...

Certainly sounds like Red Spider Mites.

As kids we used to call them blood spiders and there were usually lots of them crawling over the wall in our back garden. They were bright orangey-red and about the size of a grain of sand/sugar and could move quite quickly...especially if they were provoked by an 8 year old kid

Yeah, thats them, havn't seen them since I was a kid, but then again I don't go jumping over gardens and things now... well, not in the day and sober.

We've got them all over the place at work, bloody things! (pun intended)
