| | | steatoda nobilis spider Hi all, I was clearing a room in work as we are going to have some building work done and I came across a spider and 100's babies in a large tangled web underneath the web was littered with the dried remains of woodlice and other spiders.
When I did some research (whilst fending off a colleague who suggested hoovering them up ) and it had all the characteristic's of a steatoda nobilis and was Identical to the pic's
However I live in Newport South Wales and they are reportedly in the far south of England??
Was 'charlotte' on holiday???????
thanks |

| | | Re: steatoda nobilis spider the only thing I can put forward as evidence is that it had a dark brown body with a white/cream line around the front of the abdoman and a white/cream fine complex pattern that resembled a messed up 'skull' on the lower abdoman.....when I work out how to get the rubbish photo's on here I will post them! xx |
