| |  6 legged spider???
My son has found a spider with 6 legs, is this a spider?? It is about 5cms in length including his legs and body etc and has brown and yellowy speckley legs and body!! I thought that all spiders have 8 legs...global warming maybe????  |

Nothing to do with global warming im afraid, no spider is born with 6 legs, its either a spider thats lost two legs or an insect of some sort, can you get a photo? |

Yes he's very quick, which makes me think that he hasn't lost 2 legs at all!!??!! |

Not an insect then, its a spider of some sort, it must have lost two legs. |
