| | | White and red spider ID request Hi
I found a rather strange spider in my bathroom this morning. Sorry I can't post a pic as I was late for work.
It's about the size of man's thumbnail with thin legs and a smallish abdomen. It's a creamy white colour with two red 'Ziggy Stardust' flashes across the back of its abdomen.
This was in northern England.
Anyone got any idea what it is, and if it's safe?

If it is, then its perfectly safe - bees and wasps sting more than spiders bite, so I don't know why everyones so scared of spiders (to much bad media and Hollywood)
