| | | Re: white spider in sweet peas?! Yes, they can alter their colour - as I said they can be white, yellow or greenish - though it takes quite a while for them to do it (around 2 week+ from what I've read).

Not camouflaged at all to our eyes but I'm not sure what a bird would see. Isn't bird vision more attuned to movement than colour?

As we moved the plant about to get a photo, the spider began to lose its bright whiteness and took on a greenish tinge.
