Really sorry for the poor quality photo - had to turn the brightness up to avoid it becoming a silhouette. Spider length - 1 inch.
Any ideas?

Stick with Drassodes sp. that's all you'll get from that photo (no offense).
In fact if it wasn't for the size given, then it would be a hard guess whether it was a Drassodes, Scotophaeus or even a Clubiona? as you can't get a good shot of the eyes, the breadth of the head or the spinners to give you a clue.
It could be D.cupreus or D.lapidosus - they are almost identical, you need clear shots of the jaws to tell them apart (its the amount of tiny teeth they have)
