Unknown Spider

Who says wildlife doesn't come to you!!

While we have been on the computer tonight a spider wandered past on the wall in front of me! Unfortunately he was in a bit of a rush but I did manage to take a couple of photos.

My first thought was it is probably a house spider but I'm not sure it looks right so I'll open it up to the experts

You don't have a size for him do you?
Sadly the photo qualitiy is hindering identification (I know, some just don't like to pose for photos

)

I haven't got an exact size but I'd estimate the body was no more than 7-8mm.

And I lost out on the picture quality as we tend not to have much light on in the computer room
