Donny | The woodlice spider Dysdera crocata is one of the few british spiders who has fangs that can penetrate our skin, which its uses them pierce the armour of its favourite prey, woodlice (hence the name). Apparently humans can have an allergic reaction to bite. Its often found in gardens in damp places were woodlice are found eg. under stones and logs and are noturnal. hope thats useful |
