| | | Which Spider made this web? I came across several of these webs during a fungi foray at Thorpe Salvin (Hawks Wood). Can anyone shed any light on what type of spider made this please  it's bugging me

| | | Re: Which Spider made this web? This is the web of a Linyphiid. The Linyphiidae (sometimes called money spiders, though they aren't all black, and some are ~10mm) is the largest spider family in Britain (~280 spp.), and it's not possible to get this web to genus or species I'm afraid.
