first off , dont beat yourself up about it , it is clear that you acted with the best of intentions , but the important thing now is to work out why this is happening.
firstly what sort of water have you got them in ? - tap water is a big no no as it is chlorinated - hopefully you are using either rainwater or pond water.
secondly where are they and what is the temperature / humidity like - too hot or too cold could be the cause of the mortality, plus frogs need to be moist - dry air wont do them any good
thirdly food wise i'm not sure what froglets eat but you need to check that they have food available - checkout the froglife site Froglife - conserving native frogs, toads, newts, lizards, snakes for more info
as regards those still in the puddle - you basically have two choices either let nature take its course - those that survive will hop off , not everyone will survive , this is normal and is one way in which nature regulates the frog population, alternatively you could move them to a nearby pond - if you do this make sure it is one without fish as fish will eat froglets - it isnt a good idea to move them very far however as transporting frogs from one population to another can spread diseases such as redleg
hope this is helpful
