they have a few rocks in with them but the 1s with legs dont seem to be using them the others rest on them sometimes.do i wait until the tails are gone to let them go? |

Good afternoon to everyone. This is my first post and I don't know if I am doing it right so please help me anyone.
Can I put my problem forward please. In the village where I live there is a lane and along the length of the lane is a ditch. During the wet weather, the ditch fills with water and every year the frogs come to spawn. The problem is - once the weather starts to warm up - the ditch starts to dry up and about 99% of these tadpoles suffocate and die because they haven't time to turn into froglets before the water has all gone in the ditch. The 1% that survive are the one's that I save every year and rear. It is heartbreaking to see the tadpoles gasping for air and knowing that I can't save them all. Is there any advice anyone can give me please |
