| | Re: Fat frog competition im 100 % sure that common frogs can change their colours to match their surroundings but their colours never stray far from red, brown, yellow, blackish. ive seen my common frog change colour from brownish to yellowish right before me. they don't change in a few seconds it takes a couple of minutes. some people say its untrue but it is (ive said this on many threads  )

| | | Re: Fat frog competition The fat froggy friend is a common frog, I usually get one or two red coloured ones and a couple of pale beiges among the normal colours. My toad on the other hand is very dark brown.

| | | Re: Fat frog competition GCN lova, the photo was taken mid August and i would estimate the marsh frog is two years old, the common frog is a mature female.The marsh frog has doubled in size since the spring but is still dwarfed by the female common frog. |
