| | | Re: A distinct lack of naughty business. I have had a pond for twenty odd years. It's small and the frogs usually don't arrive early but eventually do return and up to this year I have always had spawn.
However this year I am quite concerned. On the 1st April I found two male frogs trying to mate with a dead female but that's about all the activity I have seen.
The only thing I have altered is that I have divided up some of my marginal plants and was waiting to relocate them in their baskets after all the frog mating activity had died down becuase they usually create such havoc! However I really don't think this is the cause and am wondering if the numbers of adults are lower becuase of some disease such as redleg. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
