Is this a common frog as the markings are blotches like I have never seen on the other frogs in the pond this one is twice as big as the other frogs too could it be a marsh frog..
I did see some green on it but its under water so hard to tell from the pic there is no green line down its back..

But it looks HUGE!! I've never seen anything like this one before. Most like a marsh frog, but markings unlike any I've seen. |

It's a big common for sure with some very unusual markings. I have actually seen ones marked similarly many years ago. I once saw one that was bright red but with the black markings that yours has. Very cool frog. |

Yes a common frog with very unusual markings - worth sending to froglife I think. Marsh frogs have a different head shape with a longer nose. They're just not as cute as the common frog!

lol i got one of these in my pond too and i think its just a common frog but i am not to sure
