I've seen lots of wall lizards before and none looked like this. They all seemed to have a stripe down the side and are mostly greenish or brown. We get lots on the cliffs in Bournemouth. But, I've now googled Wall Lizard and the first picture on Wikipedia looks very similar to this one.

It does appear to be a Podarcis of some kind. They all seem to have variable colouration (I've not seen any muralis that look like this either). Podarcis sicula maybe?
