Empty Pond Syndrome

My little tads are growing up, and making their way off into the world now.

I spent part of this morning trying to get photos of them, (they can't half hop! even the ones with stubby tails still... so many of them were springing about it was like popcorn in the grass. ).

Anyway, these were the ones that came out the best so I thought I'd share.



Now all I have to do is worry about them finding their way into the pond next door... my neighbour has some VERY large ornamental goldfish.

Your pond is ahead of mine, the tadpoles are still developing their legs. This year we didn't get so many tadpoles because of losing adult frogs in the big freeze, but in previous years I remember having to mow the lawn very slowly to allow large numbers of froglets to get out of the way.

I keep finding adults in my new pond.Im so happy,as they were using my old faithful washing up bowl,buried in the ground! Im glad they upgraded
Washing up bowl is still there,and there is usual a frog in there.
