| | | Adder and Grass Snake Away in the tin tent, have seen several Adders and most interestingly a Grass Snake that appears to be about to shed its skin? the Grass Snake is very dull in colour and the eyes milky, it has been in the same sunny spot for the last few days and leaves at the slightest disturbance.
The Adders are all along a well used footpath although very hard to spot, in fact careful though I am when I move about I put my boot down beside the first one we found!

| | | Re: Adder and Grass Snake I've done the same thing myself. Not only have I failed to see an adder and put my foot down right beside one. But I've also had an adder fail to spot me and it slithered right over my boot!
