| | | Newt? Help Hi - Im new to this site.
We found what I think is a newt in a bucket clinging onto a leaf which was floating on the surface.
Should I do anything with it? I've put it on the side of the bucket as I was worried it might not be able to crawl out (sorry if I sound REALLY stupid!!)
Should I just leave it be? We do have a pond further down the garden (with fish in) I'm just not sure how it ended up in the bucket!
Thanks |

Thanks | Hi Sarah,
Just put the bucket on its side and the newt will make its way back to the
pond if it wishes.

It will drown if you dont get it out.
Put it in the border with the plants as cover it will be fine they will take cover in the day and go hunting at night so place it somewhere in cover and away from cats ect. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
