| | Tadpoles like Cucumber I thought I'd share some photos of the tadpoles in the pond in my back garden.
There are so many of them that I was becoming worried that they might not be getting enough to eat, so I thought I'd supplement them a little- I thought that since my (indoor) goldfish liked cucumber, the tiddlers might eat it, too.
They love it! Yesterday they were going into feeding frenzies over it- I've found that they don't eat the skin, (must be too tough for them) so today I trimmed the slices and they seem to have an easier time with it.
Some even climb on top, while the others push the slices around and around the pond... it's quite funny to watch them. (The first photo is just the tadpoles - the second shows them feeding on the cucumber.

| | | Re: Tadpoles like Cucumber Lol! I hadn't thought of that- but since the pond is starting to look like a big punch bowl, with all those slices of cucumber floating about.... I thought maybe a dash of Pimms?

Oh and if your having Pimms then a Borage flower or two surely is a must! Bit early though....
