| | | Same old poser - smooth or palmate? North Lancs
Any ideas? The very plain flesh pink chin suggests Palmate to me, but can I make out a few fine spots?
Is that a white tubercule on the 'wrist' of the lower front foot or is it a toe nail. if it is a tubercule is that important?

Many thanks

Its a Palmate, Smooth have distinct spots on the throat whilst Palmate have a pale throat with no spots.

Dave | A definite palmate or me.
How far north are you? We have them on Tyneside.

| | | Re: Same old poser - smooth or palmate? North Lancs Thanks guys - was 99.99% sure but it was found with a shedload of smooths. just looked a tiny bit different from above so we turned it over for the chin shot.
A look on the NBN gateway shows palmates are present all the way north to Joh'n o Groats, also plenty of coverage in the N Lancs/S. Lakes area.
A new tetrad record for the North Lancs ARG coming their way.
Cheers
