| | | Basking adders Hi there,
I recently read somewhere that adders don't bask on rocks. I wondered if someone could tell me whether this is true? I'd also be interested to know if anyone has seen adders basking on rocks in the wild?
Thanks in advance,

| | | Re: Basking adders Thanks for all you replies. I thought they probably would bask on rocks if they felt there was enough cover nearby. I went looking for them the other day and saw my first adder for years.

| | | Re: Basking adders Nearly trod on one today! A big female basking on an area dug by rabbits but also within reach of Dogs Mercury, which gave good cover.
