froth on pond

Our pond has a load of frog spawn and our grandchildren want to know about the 'froth' we get floating on the water. This happends each year around the same time as the frogspawn. It looks as if the washing has been done in there (well, not that bad) but it dose stand out. We do have a water fall so mabe that stirs things up a bit. They look toward me for answers so Iv got to seem intelligent. So help, please.

The waterfall will be stirring up the water, and the froth you can see will be a mixture of proteins and humic acid that is in the water. Its like having a protein skimmer on a aquarium tank. Nothing to worry about.
