| | | Re: Moving frog spawn! one of my daughters dogs came in with a squashed slug attached to his foot the other day ..so i grabbed it and popped it in one of my belfast sinks (where i am growing on some tads )and within 10 minutes they were swarming on it ....i cannot purposely kill anything so have to look out for anything ''accidently'' killed by the dogs each day and with the rain and the amount of slugs we get in the garden the tads are eating very well Marion

Does anybody know how long it will take my tadpoles to grow into frogs? They haven't developed legs yet, i imagine they are about 13 weeks old. |

| | | Re: Moving frog spawn! you are welcome but loads of other people have had all their's change ages ago ...mine are allways late ...depends on amount of sunshine and the warmth of the water ....and also when spawn hatched .....my frogs seem to leave it all till the last minute ...plus my pond only gets sun in the afternoon ....but many of my froglets are very big !!! all the extra time in the pond means more time to eat Marion

| | | Re: Moving frog spawn! All the changes are exciting as we've never watched or looked after tadpoles before. They are having a lovely varied diet of fish food, lettuce, snails and chicken plus all the little creatures they find in their pond! It's all good fun and i find they are developing at different rates which is a little bit strange but obviously natures way. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
