| | | Reptiles in the Wokingham/Maidenhead area Hi
Thought with the spring well on its way i would go out and about trying to get some shots of our scaly friends
any advice would be great, i have seen grass snakes at a local sailing club near me however you have to be a member and i recall about 10 yrs ago seeing a black adder on a reptile walk in one of the nature parks in the wokingham area
any tips would be great i just dont want to go wading through a park and disturbing anything
cheers guys |

| | | Re: Reptiles in the Wokingham/Maidenhead area Wildmoor Heath in Crowthorne is a good bet for reptile spotting. I know it's not quite in your area but it's only a mile or so from Crowthorne station, 5 miles down the track from Wokingham.

| | | Re: Reptiles in the Wokingham/Maidenhead area If you fancy getting in touch with BRAG - the Berkshire Reptile and Amphibian Group - drop me a PM with some contact details. I'm based just up the road from Wokingham, we are currently sorting out some amphib survey sessions
I am the County Herp recorder, so I have some fairly up to date records for a few locations for various species. If you have any herp records for Berkshire, no matter how old, we would love to add them to our database. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
