| | | Re: Reptiles 2011 Saw my first Adder of 2011 today in Dartford Kent. A male basking well out of camera range in a bramble bush. Typical brown colouration with black zig-zag. I'm still trying to get a photo of a silver / grey male but there don't seem to be many at the sites I use. Only saw one like this last year.

| | | Re: Reptiles 2011 Thanks, I will. I'm off work for three weeks now and planned to do plenty of snake photography but the weather is meant to be cold and miserable now for the next couple of weeks so my chances of seeing them are pretty slim unfortunately.

| | | Re: Reptiles 2011 Look for the south facing micro climates, there must be some, I have no Bats here but a friend has said they are about in a stand of Beeches near their roostwhere it is warmer and out of the weather. I wish you luck.
