for 3 years in a row all the spawn melted. A small natural pond in the
wild will dry up almost every year, this is a natural cycle and it works very
well for me and my very healthy frog population |

are always back the next year and the newt population is also healthy. |

This emerge the following year/years in spring and start of the process again
