| | | scat found on step this morning I posted this question in the General Wildlife section, but further research has led me to believe there might be a reptilian answer to my question, so I'm posting here too. Please can anyone help ?
"This `present' was on our conservatory step this morning. Could anyone please tell me what could have left it there ??" |

| | | Re: scat found on step this morning Thank you both Jennie and Mark. I think Jennie must be right. I've not noticed bird poo like this before, but since you're the second person to suggest a bird (a wood-pigeon was proposed in another forum) I have to bow to better judgement.
It's the first I've seen quite like this though - and birds normally NEVER leave droppings where this was found.
Thanks again |

| | | Re: scat found on step this morning At 6cm long (assuming units on ruler are metric) this must have been one huge (or long term constipated ) blackbird according to my experience, but I accept I am no scatologist.

| | | Re: scat found on step this morning Thank you Malcolm - that was what I thought. It's why I posted the picture. I'd not seen anything this big anywhere around before and the measures are in metric. As you say, one big and constipated bird. I bowed to the advice though - since I'm no scatologist either. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
