| | | Sloe Worm I recently caught my caty playing with something in the garden ,when i eventually retreaved it i believe it to be a Sloe Worm as thes are apparentley very rare around the Midlands should i keep it to be inspected by an expert and where in my garden or surrounding area would they be breeding ? |

could you possibly post a pic of the animal to confirm id.
also if you could let us know where you are and what your garden and surrounding area are like it would help ensure you get the best advice.

| | | Re: Sloe Worm If you think it's not a safe environment to release this slow worm, then I'd phone the RSPCA and ask for their advice. Have a look at the photo Gallery and type in slow worm, this will bring up plenty pics, so you can identify it. I would be looking to release it as soon as possible if the RSPCA think your area is okay, if not they will advice you where to release it. They may even do this for you.
