Can you get wild albino toads?

Hi all, the question is as above. The reason i ask is when is was a child we used to go to sum large ponds not too far away and spend all day looking for frogs toads and newts,any one day i rolled over a log an in front of me was a pure white toad with an orangey spot on it. If it had been a normal toad i would have grabbed it but i was took back and a bit scared so shouted friends over and of course it was gone by the time they arrived.
I had the xexexexe taken out of me for ages and called a liar.
20 years or so on and im beginning to doubt i ever saw it!
So is it possible? Did i see one?
Im pretty sure i did,anyone heard of this before?

I think some have turned up on WAB but I have never seen one in the flesh..
