Never had a snake in my garden before so was rather excited....until I saw he was trying to eat my prize frog! Anyway, froggie escaped after about five minutes, not sure if he will be ok. Grass snake still in pond at the moment. I know its nature, but I hope he doesn't eat my baby newts and frogs!!  |

Your grass snake appears to be French, as he's only got the leg! Joking apart, I believe that frogs are one of their main prey  |

He's my biggest frog, and I think the snake bit off more than it can chew with this one!! I hope he survives....  |

He will survive. Would be another matter if he had him by the head though. He would have no problem swallowing that size of frog. |

I hope slow worms don't eat frogs, i also have a beaut living under a pile of rubbish in my wildlife patch, the dog found him, he won't hurt it he just stares and barks at it and frog peers out from beneath the rubbish, must take a photograph of that one.
If it is the same one, he was living in my greenhouse and time after time i would go in only to find from swimming in a water tray amongst the plants, as soon as he saw me he hopped out and dissaperead under the staging, quite funny really.
