And is she pregnant? This is only the second sighting I've had (she's in my pond). There are plenty of GCNs in the area, so I've been hoping one's going to come. |

It is most likly a female as it doesnt have the males crest but I wouldnt like say without seeing its tail. |

I suppose it's not impossible that she's still laying, next time sit and watch her if you can, if she seems to be busy with her hind feet ( wrapping eggs in folded leaves) then that's certainly what she's doing |
