baby newts
Can any one help me identify this little fellow? i found two fo them in my garden on 13/06/10 with some small frogs in a damp corner of my garden. They are about 4cm long. But there is no water nearby. I assume it is a small smooth newt. Can anyone confirm this?

Looks like a smooth newt to me, that yellowish colour is quite typical on the little ones.
