| | | Found some wriggly black things... ...in my container pond that look a bit like exclamation marks but which I think might be mozzie/midgie larvae. I thought my tads would like to eat them, especially as they're growing some fine legs and are clearly becoming carniverous because they devour the liver I put in for them, but they're not in the least bit interested in the wriggly black things - or anything else that looks edible and shares their home. Does anyone know why this might be? |

| | | Re: Found some wriggly black things... Sound like mosquito larvae to me ,i get them in my pond and the tadpoles never seem to eat them in mine ,but if you have things like dragonfly larvae or other carniferous insects they should eat them.
