soooooo many tadpoles
Out rambling on Friday, my friend and I came across a pond in the middle of nowhere that was absolutely teeming with tadpoles. I have never seen so many.

I took this photo the other day of toad tadpoles as well! You can see a meter ruler at the bottom, the shoal mjust of been 1.5 x 1 meter, amazing!

When I was a kid about ''20 years'' ago. We would go to an old flooded quarry in the middle of some farmland. Pretty isolated and unused. There were vast shoals ( dont know the collective term ) of tadpoles. Just like your pics but probally 3 - 4 metres in diameter. Would go back but a 30 something looking for tadpoles probally needs a new hobby these days.
