| | | Genral signs Hello all, been browsing WAB for a couple of days now i have found it fascinating to say the least, i find my self reguarly checking for new posts of wonderful photos, so great website and comunity of people
after my previous post about the slow worm encounter, my son who loves his nature he has asked me if we could go and photo some snakes/spiders/lizards and genrally all other reptiles or insects
im just looking for some advice on tell tell signs there is an snake in a certain location and or where to find them i,e genral habitat. what to look out for,
as his school are doing a big project on wildlife conservation and he would like some photos to take into his school to add to this project and educate other people on them |

| | | Re: Genral signs ah sorry forgot that part, iam in south wales in the valleys got alot of mountain area and woodland with some farms dotted around here and there all of which are about 20-30 min walk from the town iam in |

have a closer look around the area where the slowworm came from. that would be a good start - if the habitat is suitable for them it may be suitable for other reptiles too.
also try here SWWARG - South & West Wales Amphibian & Reptile Group . its an informative site and they may help you further if you contact them.
