| | | Newts breeding ? For about a month now I have seen a lone newt in the pond but yesterday I saw two could this be mating or is it to late? |

Did they look like a male and female (ie different)
Were they just hanging in the water feeding, or moving around or writhing among surface pondplants?
Go out tonight with a torch and watch the pond. Hopefully you will see more. Watch where you walk though as they hunt on land. |
